Thief 2: more stealing
Thief 1 and 2 are the best, the only true competitor is Filcher. But 1 and 2 are the best in the series.

Best stealth
I don't no plot of this game till now, but this didn't interhere me to play and have pleasure of this game. Interesting mechanics and setting. Maybe more interesting than Splinter Cell. I have tried Thief 3 recently. Aproximately after an hour of game I exited. I don't know why but the sequel not so interesting. So whom don't try this game yet I recommend.
