Thief™ 2: The Metal Age

Thief 2 is one of those games that really makes you realize good games and believable worlds are not about technology and graphics, but about design, gameplay, and writing. For a game with mythical machines and crazy conspiracies, this is among the most believable worlds there is in video gaming. You can lose yourself for hours on a single mission, exploring all the details laid out and trying to be a completionist. It's a wonderful game!

Thief 1 was incredible, what Thief 2 does is get rid of the non-thievery missions, and instead just add MORE real thievery. Every mission is fun, and filled with secrets and loads and loads of stuff to steal. For it's price, it's the best game you can get.

This is the kind of game that should be played not only by anyone who likes stealth games, but by any developer that plans on making stealth games.

Even today, if you cant put up with the controls & the old school visuals, the game still has one of the most immersive atmosphere available in video games. The gameplay is still great, exploration still so rewarding... I've finished this games 8/9 times and I still discover new things, I couldn't recommend this classic enough !

This classic does work and does play correctly. I cannot fault it. It is as the builder intended...
