great as always .the witcher 2,3 we are waiting on 4 in late 2026 , CD PROJECT please deliver !

Game has amazing interactibility; however, it is quite buggy as the app launches me back ti the GOG app every so often.

True RPG with complex story - your decisions carry SO MUCH MORE weight, than you are used to from other RPGS. Your decisions can (and absolutely WILL) cut you off from 30-50% of content in one playtrhough, so this game has to be enjoyed in multiple playthougs. Game has terrible combat, annoying bugs, sometimes your map/instructions are just wrong. Another issue is weird presentation (especially annoying is rendering distance - sometimes it is great, with miles of beautifull vistas, sometimes you can see just to the nearest tree). But the story and atmosphere is just woth it.

I was absolutely expecting more from this game having played Witcher 3. Training part is broken and prevents progression. Oh well. Combat is not well executed and repeated deaths (even on standard level) in the prologue makes this it a repetitive chore to play. Fighting the same 3-4 enemies (yes, I know it’s early in the game and there will be other enemies along) but 20 times in a row – not very interesting. Confusing interface. In a dungeon suddenly a timer starts with a heart, symbolizing me or some else dying. I don’t know. There were some texts on screen, I didn’t get to read before it was gone. Likewise the whole setup with me being in captivity telling a story to somebody. It might work on paper, it might work for somebody who played Witcher 1 and knows the entire story. For all the effort put in to this game I’m very disappointed. Best part so far is naked Trish. I know her from Witcher 3 and looks like she is/was a better character in Witcher 2, but the rest – a huge disappointment.

It has issues, and some clunky gameplay, but it is a witcher game, and if you like the world, most of the time it's enough to make it worth. The average run feels a bit short, but it has real choices to deal with. Including 2 very different turns of events depending on who you go with. If you like the witcher, then it will be enjoyable.
