I played it on 2022. I wanted try out this type of game ( fantacy, inventory magic ). I was impressed, never bored in any place. Good story, decision driven ( Nothing major but has consequence ). Well thought and designed in game guide. Some side quests are really good contributes to have deep understanding of story. Beware still many filler side quests are there, requires slight grind. Cons: Since its old game, not much fast travel, lot of loading screens houses or part of map ( only few sec)

I think i don't have to say much about the game itself, but i have to say that i love cd projekt red for doing such a great job with their mac support! The Mac M1 compatible Version of the game launched on 20th November last year, fifteen years after the original release of the game, which is a thing i hadn't excpected anymore. But the port wasn't perfect, if you wanted to enter shanis house in act for example, the game would crash. There was a fix for that, but hte fix was really bad. But they patched it! Another thing i havn't excpected. Great job cdpr!

Grabbed this for free and now I'm addicted. I always wanted to try The Witcher series so I gave it a go with this. And then I bought TW2 for $3 even though I'm still in chapter 2 of TW1. I'll play these two for now and buy TW3 as soon as I get a good graphics card. Some people say the fighting mechanics in TW1 is bad but I think for a game released in 2007, it's ok. Absolutely love this. Classical Masterpiece!

However, some technical issues mar the experience - frequent crashes require manual saving to avoid progress loss. Exploration can feel tedious at times, with excessive backtracking across the map. The Spanish dubbing is also subpar, making English audio a better option. Dice poker, an extra game mode, feels unfair and frustrating, despite being part of the lore. Despite these flaws, "The Witcher: Enhanced Edition" remains a great game for fans of action RPGs and the Witcher series. If you can tolerate some technical issues and tedious gameplay moments, this classic is still worth playing.
