Great atmosphere, poor execution

I’m a bit late to the Witcher party but finally finished the first game in the series. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite as good as I would have hoped. After 10 hours or so, I found myself just wanting to push through the main quest to get to the end. Most of the quests were boring and tedious and the constant conversations, although impactful for choice and story arc, were annoying by the end. I absolutely loved the look and feel and many of the characters so I’m looking forward to playing Witcher II next! Sadly this one didn’t live up to my expectations. Underwhelming quests, wonky controls, yet stunning atmosphere! Audio/Visuals **** Controls ** Story **** Fun Factor **

Superb game with no W10 compatibilty

Superb game with one major flaw on the GOG game launcher part. I had to make seperate game shortcut which I used for roughly 10 hours. After figuring it out how to fix it (setting Vista compatibilty of the launcher which GOG uses) I have lost all saves...

Running well on android

Game is fun to play but only has very little graphic options. Makes it harder to play it on my phone using windows emulator.

Does not run well on Silicon Macs

I tried this with my M1 8gb Mac and the game couldn't hold more than 30fps with frequent dips into the teens, should? work fine on Intel Macs. GOG should update tags or optimize further since performance is abysmal and makes the game nearly unplayable.
