The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse

It has an amazing graphic style, which I like very much. It's kinda a mix of Rogue Legacy and the old Zelda's. This game is a RogueLite which means the death of your hero is permanent. BUT the player returns to the beginning with a new hero in a new generated world, WITHOUT LOSING any progress. Which means you keep your level, money, progress on the main quest and a few items. Keep in mind: Death is part of the game! Also the timer adds a completely different Layer to the game in that you have to manage your time carefully. Before you have to face the evil boss :) If you can't beat him as mentioned already you don't lose your progress. So nothing to worry about. Later in the game you will get a possibility to extend time till. Hint: Time/Celestial Fragments. Also time stops in town and dungeons. Or play the "Relaxed Game" Mode :) Combat is simple but well done. There is a surprising amount of depth to it as well when you start buying and finding more powerful weapons (toys) and stickers (boosts/upgrades) that can do a variety of things and synergize pretty well together. Enemy variety is pretty good so far, each time you level up it adds more enemy variety to encounter around the map. Dungeons are simple. Good mix of mini puzzles and fun combat encounters. Bummers for me: - only Local Co-Op (workaround: e.g. Parsec) - annoying music (but that is maybe just me! :D ) In short: Get it! It is awesome fun :D The Art & Atmosphere is absolutely brilliant.

I had to ask for a refund for the first time in two years on GOG. Unfortunately I couldn't play the game more than the tutorial, so far seemed a good rogue like with funny cartoon art and music. But, the game contantly crashed no matter what troubleshooting attempted with the good GOG team. Th official support of the game never answered an email, in 18 days counting festivities. The specs were meeted, so if you wanna try this game be prepared to possible hardware conflict with no support from the developers, and that is a really sad thing, really sad.

Super disappointing roguelike. Gameplay is bland, and sense of progression is horrible. Art is good though

The game is fun and easy to play.

This game dosn't end, I was hoping for a more Zelda like game with an ending. You just have one death before a reset "run", if you win then you start another "run". As much as I wanted to like it, it gets old fast.
