But even with a few technical hiccups, checkpoint woes, and a sense that maybe going this big with such an intimate game wasn’t the best choice, The Invincible is an enjoyable experience. The Invincible is a '60s sci-fi novel brought to life that is best suited for those who love to get nerdy about hard science and love that retro sci-fi aesthetic. More casual fans will likely find plenty to enjoy with the game, but they should know that this a game about getting immersed in a world that wants to tell a story instead of the usual space-faring adventure shtick. When The Invincible gets its hooks in players, it can be a narrative experience that is thrilling, thought-provoking, and worth the ride.

An interesting story with a beautiful setting, though it loses its initial charm fast, so maybe it's good it's really short. The controls are sometimes annoying, game is generally quite buggy, a problem with loading new areas occasionally occurs. The endings aren't that much different besides two major consequences of our choices. For me it's more of an interacitve story than a fully fledged RPG.

a Sci-Fi Fan got bored quickly
nice atmosphere. but I never got bored so quickly in a game like this, as good looking as it is maybe my taste has changed, maybe I was hoping for more I can't compare the game to others in this genre, because it is too unique and exceptionally well made but as far as the story goes, no, it is not a blockbuster Sci-Fi story it's hard to dismiss the game I have tried, but I can't like the game

Game blocking bug in the ending
It is completely unacceptable to have a game blocking bug during game ending, this completely destroys immersion and all of the positive emotions I had during gameplay. However much I'd like this game, it's atmosphere, design, dialogues and everything - unfinished games shouldn't be released. If it only had an adnotation that it is "early access", then OK, I'd just wait because I like to play finished games. But this was not the case, I bought the game on release day and I probably won't buy games on premiere day anymore. Everything else in this game was great, too bad.
