The Fall Part 2: Unbound

The start of this game wasn't as strong as the first game, but the overall arc of the game, and the trilogy, is strong as ever. The back third of the game is one ofthe strongest narratives I've ever seen in gaming. I enjoyed part 1 and will be waiting anxiously for part 3.

The combat was pretty horrendous and really boring, wanted to play for the story, but the game part of it was just too bad.

The story is more or less on par with the first part. 4 stars. The default controls with keyboard and mouse make it impossible to continue in act 3 because ESC is used to switch to menu (priority) and to switches between locations, so you either have to remap keys or to use a gamepad. -1 star The game is based on Unity3D and uses the included unity spyware to track users. This is default on, neither does the game tell you nor does it present the option to opt-out. This does not comply with general data protection regulation and should become a No-Go on GOG platform, too. -1 star Note: The linux release is a debug version. You can verify the above in the clear text logs. Also the autosave feature can break your game by creating a lockout save. This happened to me while "validating the companion". Therefore 2 out of 5 stars.

Much much worst than first part. Broken expectations. Not interesting story.

Great game, although I played it for the story and characters. Had to look up walkthroughs quite a few times, which didn't bother me. Can't wait for the conclusion.
