It’s showing its age and still suffers from the trademark Bethesda bugs, but The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is a good enough excuse to warrant a return trip or serve as an entry point to this massive game.

An excellent upgrade
Skyrim Anniversary edition adds a ton of new content. Pretty much every single main line DLC and all the extra stuff from the Bethesda shop. You get new armor, weapons, equipment, spells, mounts, quests, so much new things it makes the game feel new again. Great for veterans of the series who want an excuse to relive this adventure again.

Almost The Witcher
Daggerfall lore but proto-Fallout 4 engine and gameplay. Betshdaish and clunky, battered with time but still very beautiful and deep. And playable in 2024. Overall, very good, almost like the Witcher 3, but could have been better. I like the GOG version most.
