Step backwards
Number inflation that completely breaks their combat system, worthless spells, and a ridiculous double-handed control scheme that makes swapping spells/weapons a nightmare. Terrible story with even worse characters. The voice acting could not have been worse. I was expecting improvements over Oblivion, this was a huge step-backwards. Sadly, Morrowind was a deeply flawed game but still their best product to date.

Dissapointed
I just brought the game after reading that i could dongrade to version 1.6.659 upon more reading to late at this point i cant downgrade anymore to this version because it has been updated too many times and previous downgrades are removed... I guess ill wait for them to fix it. 158GB Mods ready to go and soo yeah.. Good Times...

A good game
A lot of things to do in this game, and the mods add even more. The CC content it is a nice touch. Still have some few old bugs, some for quests too.

I wanted to love it
I just finished my first and only playtrough. I wanted to discover and explore every location, read every book, complete every quest, talk to every character but instead found myself getting more and more annoyed with the UI and the bugs until the game no longer was fun. At that point I'd already sunk over 100 hours so I tried to convince myself to keep playing but couldn't ... maybe because I expected better from a game Bugthesda has been milking for over a decade. One star for the great content (characters, locations, quests, etc.), one more for the awesome community. That's it. Sorry. I lack the time, the patience and the tolerance.

Todd has spoken. Skyrim must be released again. It is our sacred duty to buy it again. As many times as is necessary to fund Fallout in Space. Do it. You know you want to. You can't resist your natural instinct to consume media. Do not disappoint us.
