Finally!
I have been waiting for 10 years for this to happen! I can finally uninstall the Steam version as well as delete the pirated one that I use to avoid Steam on Linux! I wish the same would happen for Origin games (Dragon Age & Mass Effect!)

The"buy salt everytime,everywhere"-sim
Why would you want to restart Skyrim with a new character for the x-time again ( + after finishing "Enderal")?: Because with the Anniversary-Edition: you don't need to redo the same missions for the x-time to have the right to buy houses, have additional cargo space with the teleportable creatures you might find, plenty of additional missions, etc. My only disapointments after 70 hours (without additional mods): no mark and recall spell,no horse whistle,fishing mini-microgame is underwhelming,backpacks look like kiddy-design,(survival mode)player needs to sleep and eat as often as my five year old human child/a 1 year old kajit.

Still an amazing world !
Started with Morrowind, then went to Oblivion and Skyrim. The DRM-free version is a bless for modes if you want stabilise a version. No more hassle once you got the fitting SKSE for your version. Have hours of fun while mode the hell out this game ! Enjoy !

I wanted to buy a long time ago
I wanted to buy a long time ago, but I did not because I don't want to use steam or other software. Now I can play it finally. Hopefully all the mods work too.
