Arena is relaxing
I played this game as a kid on DOS and it works just fine through gog. The controls are pretty easy once you know them. You have to use arrow pad and not WASD, because its that oldschool. Its easier and less buggy to play that the 2nd elderschools game, daggerfall. which I am going to play next now.

This game needs the a REMAKE treatment
This game is just way too dated to be played on modern machines the way it was designed back in the day. If nothing else, some one needs to revamp to control system to some more akin to Elder Scroll III.

good game despite it's age
It's a good game. A load of trash, but good trash. I, an uncultured Zoomer recommend this very flawed gem that was ahead of it's time.

Still good in 2025
It will feel very dated and difficult to play at first, but if you stick with it, you will have a great time. I kind of wish they would remaster it. Modern Controls and a few QoL changes would definitely make it more accessible.
