SteamWorld Dig 2 retains the original's addictive resource-gathering gameplay, but supplements it with a gorgeously detailed, handcrafted world. Its heady mix of exploration, combat, platforming, and puzzle solving, alongside an expansive set of abilities and mods gives it plenty of variety and a great gameplay rhythm. I wish there was more to do once the campaign ends, but that's a testament to the fact that what is here is just about pitch perfect.

Such an amazing piece of art. I love it!
I've been playing this on Switch. I really love the Metroid/Dig Dug feel. Upgrading equipment is so rewarding. It's a very zen game in that you can get lost playing for hours at a time. The developers did such an amazing job. I'm really inspired by this.

liked the game; disliked the ending
A beautiful game that start out as "more of the same" but quickly exceeds the original. My main complaint is the downer ending that is both completely predictably and completely unavoidable.

Looks good
The gameplay looks good, but is frustrating and confusing play without a xbox controller. All icons are based in xbox and you need to find what that icon represent in your controller. The worst is that the game have the icons for the dualshock 4 but don't have a option to select it, and change the icons name in game installation folder don't work.
