The EULA is a 'rental agreement'

Despite the devs saying that the spyware was removed, it still tries to upload something. This is a -Steamworld- themed game. Sandbox difficulty doesn't work. Balanced difficulty will get you overrun by the critters in short order. The guards you hire to deal with the critters are easily killed. The mine is only 4 layers deep. And the 'unstable ceiling' mechanic is really annoying. Getting anything produced is a major chore. Supply chain is not balanced or logical. ---- DLC -Mechanized- is not covered by the tutorial. You have to read every tip in the loading screens to figure out how to use the Mech. ---- The EULA is a 'Rental Agreement'. They can take this game away from you at anytime for any reason.

Not DRM free

Just below the game description you can read: "DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play." Well, that's a lie, this game comes with End User License Agreement, which you have to accept to play, this agreement forces you to accept spying and tracking on you using third party tools. Say no to that, and DO NOT buy this game.

So many Genres in one Steamworld....

A world builder, Check. A very good and enjoyable easy to learn and master world builder, Check. THEN the "Mine" becomes accessible and a whole new genre of games opens up...!! Mining/Tower defense/Strategy.....and a few others. It gets deeper and deeper - pun intended - and a game that starts out relatively simple quickly evolves into a rich and fun experience. But then you realize you can always do it again faster better and a lot more efficient, so you do. A very Brave move with excellent implementation by the Steamworld Team, a true gem that u can play supper fast or carefully slow! it's always a GO.

Nice little game

Nice litte strategy game, I like the mix between some sort of minebuilding battle and city building. Its a nice way to bridge some sometimes boing wait for resouces. There is a story. I find the story quite weird towards the end.. the world is gonna explode, does the world know? But the the story is just a sideline anyway, So or so worth grabbing on a discount.

A Pretty Good Time

I admit the whole EULA thing bothered me, but the game been good me happy. It feels worth the price. Grab it on sale if you have doubts.
