Best of the SPG Series
There's something special about this one. Of the three (or four, depending on who you ask) Starpoint Gemini games, it has to be the one that really shows off how great the series is. I'm not going to sit here and tell you it's the only game I play. But I do come back to it every couple of years, just to get lost in it again. Does it compete in a world where games like X4 and Starsector exist? I think so. All three games are unique in their own way and have their own ways of doing things. If you're looking for something a little less complex than X4 (and Starsector really) but more action-y than Starsector, give this one a shot. And if you're a fan of the genre who's never played a Starpoint game before, but you're interested in/curious about the series, I would highly recommend this particular entry. There's DLC for the game; the Titan one is pretty nice. But I kind of feel like you really don't need the DLC because there's plenty to do in the base game as is. That said, check it out, research it; it might be something you're interested in.
