This game is simply fantastic. It's a literal steal at only 15 dollars as well, with how much content and playability this game has. I'm more of a Rune Factory guy than Harvest Moon, but I've always liked the idea of what the Harvest Moon games did as well, and this game is awesome. It has combat and dungeons, so it does have that 'Rune Factory element' to it as well, but as I understand it, this game is much more of a love letter to the Harvest Moon series, and a great one at that! I'm at the end of Summer of the 1st year, and this is just a ton of fun to play. It's one of those 'one more day' kind of games, and before you know it, you've played the game for quite a bit more time that you thought you did or intended to. Tons to see and do in the game, and in a great 'do it your own way and at your own pace' kind of way, which is even better. I COULD be focused on the monthly events and relationship building, but I'm 100% focused on my farm and also combat/dungeon delving, and that's it. And I'm having a blast. Upgrades in the game are all over the place, crafting plans, tools, weapons, buildings on your farm, and they're expensive enough to have to work for them, but not so much that it's insane, at least early on. The progression system seems to be very well thought out and executed. You always have multiple different things you can be working towards, and it's entirely up to you which you want to focus on and in what order, etc. Very few low points or issues with the game so far. I do wish the day cycle lasted a bit longer, it moves a bit too fast, but it doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the game, that's for sure. And ONE guy made this game, that's incredible. This game is EASILY worth twice the asking price, if not more. At 15 dollars, if you have even the slightest interest in this and think you'll like it, get it! It's great.

I'm not a big fan of life simulator games, and still this got me hooked, hook, line and sinker. Lots of polish, lots of small details and surely love for the original material. Some games makes you feel like the devs loved doing them, and this is one of those. One of the best small games I played in a long time.

So far I have had the game for a day and a half and I already have 15 hours in the game... so yeah it is quite the great game!

This game is amazing. I've been playing it for over 3 years, and wrote a review just now. It's a great farming game, where you could start a family, farm, mine, and do much more things. This game is worth the amount of money paid. I love it. It also has plenty of cutscenes that makes it much more fun then it already is. I reccomend buying this game.

It has lots of fun stuff to do.. good story that makes you a part of the game and relaxing.
