This game is comparable to the more simple SNES Harvest Moon games, but with more farming content. It is open ended also and has no ending to the game, giving you time to explore the world at whatever pace you like

Stardew Valley is the game I wanted when I was depressed. The game I wanted when I was lonely. The game I wanted when I was upset. It's a simple game, but playing it is one of the most positive experiences I've ever had. This game is an escape, a playground, a fresh-air walk through the woods in spring; it's charming and simple, down-to-earth, and just plain fun to play. As you work on your farm, make friends with the townfolk, and slowly uncover the mysteries of the mines, you develop a fondness for this small corner of the virtual world - a fondness that falls over you like a warm, fuzzy blanket when your character goes to sleep at night, and greets you brightly the next morning when the rooster crows at the break of dawn. For the stressed, the anxious, and the curious this game is a real treat. For everyone else, if you like cute, slow, soft games, give this one a try. I think you'll enjoy it.

Stardew Valley is one of my all-time favorite games. It perfectly combines being relaxing, along with combining many levels of feelings of accomplishment which keep you playing on. Players with many different interests can enjoy this games, because there is just so much to do, and you're forced into none of it. You can farm, fish, forage, mine, fight monsters, hang out with the townsfolk, collect artifacts for the museum; the list is almost endless. This is about as perfect as games get. It will be coming out on Switch in two days and I can't wait to buy it again!

I found the story to be riveting and it kept me interested the whole way through. Getting married, farming daily, having kids, a pet, fishing, make your own wine, it's all there. I found that there were times where I was getting excited for the next season just so I could see what it had to offer. The only thing I found that could be different is the time limit on exploring the dungeon. You can be friends with everyone, pick your friends, or just get everyone to hate. It up to and fun to try out. Awesome Game Concerned Ape.

I like the game so much, even though I am a casual gamer, this game is very good. I wish the developer did include the melody musics as a download as it very good specially playing at night. I recommend Stardew Valley if you like retro, RPG, Farming.. Fantastic Game overall!
