I can't describe how fantastic this game is. I spend endless amazing hours in this game.
It so relaxing. Like a small vacation from all the work stress. Would buy Again ... and Again :)
My kids have Rune Factory and they compare this game to that one. Having never played Rune Factory, I thought I would give this a try. It is a fun game, fairly forgiving in it execution. The interactions with the towns people are fun and after you get the basics down it is a lot of fun to work up to the achivements. The world is quick to navigate through and it is easy to see how to get from one place to another. For how simple the game is it is very immersive.
this is the farminggamei have been hunting for for the last few years, its fun and well worth the time to play, im 18 hours in at this point and i still have lots to do. with updates to interduce mulyplayer on the horizons this game is fast becoming a must have!

Stardew Valley will take you back to where your love affair with agriculture and farm life most likely first began: Harvest Moon. You take control of your Grandfather's old farm which admittedly needs a whole lot of TLC to restore it to glory and the people of Pelican Town are keeping a close eye on you. Build relationships while you re-build your farm - everyone in town has different personalities and things they like. If you enjoy having a gaming addiction that leads to this game consuming your whole life, coupled with your passion for animal husbandry, chopping down wood like a lumberjack, cutting grass better than Groundskeeper Willy and exploring your way through caves like the brave adventurer that you are, then Pelican Town in Stardew Valley is waiting for you.
Now get out there, kid, and open that envelope your Grandpa gave you.
