Every new scientific discovery grants Research Points allowing you to unlock new modules and enhancements with a deep technology research tree. Choose techs that favor your preferred gameplay style: Upgrade your plasma cannons or unlock long range missiles? Better armor or shields? Unlock crew specializations first or a larger hull? 
The galaxy is full of unique alien factions each with their own motives. Decide who you will trust, trade with, hire, or vaporize. 
Fans of Starcom: Nexus should know that the overall game mechanics have remained similar (with a lot of improvements), this is not a direct sequel-- it is a brand new story. New players will not need to be familiar with the plot of Starcom: Nexus to jump right in.

Great game for space exploration!
I love relaxing games, space exploration and games with interesting lores. While I jump back to No Man's Sky in the past few months till now, I have been keeping my eyes on Starcom Unknown Space too. This game brings me entirely new experience in space exploration! Thank you Wx3 Labs for such great game!

So far very nice game
very nice so far. You don't have to follow established path, you can navigate seemlessly anywhere but it takes a long time with my basic drives. Upgrade crew, upgrade tech, upgrade ship, explore, kill aliens, trade with other aliens, nice story unfolding

Excellent game!
This game knows exactly what it is and delivers a fun experience with nice dialogues and game mechanics to boot and it is almost never boring, which is a hard thing to achieve in an open sand box type space game.
