STAR WARS™: Rogue Squadron 3D

We all know how awesome this game is. If you're like me you spent countless hours as a kid playing on N64. I even got in trouble because my mom found the cheatcodes in my pocket, which read "farmboy all tied up". So I'll play this like crazy, and enjoy the heck out of it, but it has some issues. The draw distance is literally non-existant. Unless you're right on the other ships, they're a block. Also, the ships float through the air akin to the old movies where the ships bounce around while flying straight. It is odd. I wonder if it has to do with different drivers, etc. Seems as if there are lots of instances of visual bugs like this though. All in all, totally worth it.

Okay so I just bought this game, I am trying to use my 360 wired controller but am having no luck with it. Can someone please help me through the steps, I went online to the windows website (I think anyway) and had to download the Windows 7 64x version since I have 8 64x I figured it would work but it isn't. I just want to play this game with a controller. Please someone help!!

Currently running 2011 Macbook Pro with Windows 7. The game starts up but the colors are so skewed it prevents the game from the being playable. Having played this game in the 90s, it's a fantastic game and I highly recommend it, just not sure how to get this to play now.

I only get a black screen and an alert saying: could not initialize HAL

this game won't even bother to run, tried using Dgvoodoo2 and everything else and it still dose not work
