I got this game to play and work just fine with my joystick, no black screens.
I was never a big fan of the game because it wasn't really a sim game like TIE Fighter. But for six bucks, I'll give it another go.
Sadly, the camera seems to detach from the ship and I see myself fly off into the distance. I see other people have this problem.
Other than that when I play it its just like I remember.
Runs flawlessly on Windows 10 64bit with a gtx680 and i7 4790k. Was hesitant to buy it, but I saw the refund policy and gave it a go. No buyers remorse here. Not sure if it was patched since the other reviews, but it hasn't had an issue on my new pc 9/23/15
As good as it was some 20 years ago, totally engaging.
Worked straightaway for me perfectly but only if installed onto a 32 bit version of Windows, will not run at all on 64 but no matter what I do.
i'm very happy that i bought this game. it playes well with the xbox gamepad.
but after every single mission the game crashes and don't save the just finished mission.
that's very annoying. is there a fix for that?
also you can patch the resolution of the game with "uniws" up to 1920x1440p
