Played for the first time in 2023

Back in 2000 I was already an avid Star Trek Fan and did not like the idea to combine "a Shooter" & Star Trek. (Also, I just sucked at shooters most of the time!) But boy was I wrong. My friends were right all those years ago - This game is just great. Engaging Story for Star Trek Fans and many different elements like sneaking are in this "Shooter game". I was pleasantly surprised and really entertained. I could not stop playing and helping the Voyager Crew. Only downside, I thought that it was done after about 10 hours on easy. Well... I guess I try now Normal. :D

Perfect Birthday Present

My all-time favorite Star Trek game and in my top 5 of FPS. Really, really fun game. Multiplayer was crazy fun back in the day as well. Plus it finally comes out on my birthday which also happens to be the "birth" of Trek. Huzzah! =EFR=Jackass

Excellent - Purchase

Very stable, smooth gameplay. GOG did a really good job here. Elite Force was one of my all time favourite Star Trek games and I wouldn't even be a big FPS fan. Good stable release, worked perfectly on my system first time - remember to have a look at the video settings and crank it all up to max. Vintage gaming at its best!

Glad to have this on GoG

Raven Software + old school Quake engine = will get me every time. I am just an average fan of Star Trek, but I love Quake II/III engine games, and every game Raven has ever made, before they joined Activision. Soldier of Fortune and Jedi Outcast come to mind. If you like those, you'll like this. It's a fun story-based romp with a lot of old school FPS corridor shooting, good characters and charming cut scenes, both in-game and out. I appreciate the graphics for what they are, the environments are really well done, and the character models are funny, mpaped Quake models that were cutting-edge at the time. The level puzzles are all very intuitive and just clever enough to not be frustrating. Some of the story elements can be puzzling, but I don't care, the arch is fine. Must-play game (as well as the sequel) for classic era FPS fans.
