Cant play with races from Soul Harvest
GOG version of Spellforce 3 Fallen God does not register previous games, so you cant combine races from Soul Harvest in custom games. This is not an issue in Steam version. Devs sold unfinished, broken product on GOG. I highly recommend you to avoid getting Spellforce on GOG.

Multiplayer integration lacking
Unlike the Steam version, the GOG versions of the game are not aware of each other. Specifically this means that, while I own all three (Base game, Soul Harvest, Fallen God) on GOG, I can only play the Fallen God races from within the Fallen God client, only the Soul Harvest races from within the Soul Harvest client etc. This is an annoyance for SP, but completly kills MP which you can only join via the Fallen God client - meaning I'm stuck playing a subset of races.

Has DRM Built In
No Single Player Skirmish Maps or AIs. All offline play has certain high level buildings/units DISABLED. To get all buildings/units you have to setup an account on and connect to ?Grimlore's? servers. Tutorial is non-existant. No formation control at all. ( Herding cats is probably easier. ) No way to tell units to stay or guard. ( Just get used to your units wandering off into oblivion as soon as you produce them. ) Some of the Campaign maps are still buggy and cannot be completed.

In-Depth Review on YouTube: https://youtu.be/L34XOqQWWSE Summary: Fallen God does a lot of things right compared to its predecessors. -The Game runs smoother -The Trolls are fun to play with and less restricted by the sector system -Campaign/Story is interesting and offers genuine replayability -New gameplay mechanic make the maps more diverse -Multiplayer comes with Ranked Mode -Steam Workshop implementation But some things could use improvements: -Modding tools are limited -A lot of the hostile mobs return from previous SpellForce 3 games, resulting is little variety. Overall, a very solid entry: 8/10

Don't buy now
This dlc (like most strategy games and dlc's when just released on gog) has some issues. If y also have soul harvest it doesn't recognize the dwarves and dark-elves and tells you to buy the dlc. The campaign: Alt-Haalayash is playable, saveable but not reloadable... Also had some problems with multi player , but I use soul harvest with no issues in that matter now. I just can't use the trolls...
