absolutely love it
as a huge fun of HoMM series and especially parts 3 and 4 like this Swedish miracle a lot. Separate source of joy is continous development and improvement over time, project has not got abandoned after the release.

I heard the recent Heroes of M&M sux!
Well then play this. It's great and adressess some of the issues I had with HoM&M - offensive magic is useful regardless of how long the game takes, and the max number of soldiers in a stack is limited, so there's no army of 99999 archangels walking over your kingdom. Other than that it's good to rub that HoM&M itch you might have.

A good game after its release
Solid gameplay. Good art direction, amazing pixel art. Sound & music are good. There are online games (mostly locked) as of 11/2024. (I don't have many strategy games of this genre).
