Phenomenal game

It's not hard to surpass Ubisoft, but they've passed the latter two HoMM by a wide margin. This is so incredibly good, it's not even a joke. They take the formula 3DO came up with and I can't say they perfected it, but they have taken it in a bold new direction. The stack limits and the welding is such a smart move for them to take, and is a super cool change. As a HoMM fan, i echo sseth in saying it's a biological necessity to make this game see success.

A very pleasant surprise

It just takes a lot of good things from HOMM and King's Bounty. I really enjoy this. Gave it 4* because I'm not a fan of pixelated Arcade-like graphics. This should've been a skin for those who really want this. With a hi-res graphics this game would've been a 6* one. I'm not saying people don't enjoy this type of graphics; it's just a personal taste.

If you love Heroes of Might and Magic III, you'll definitely enjoy Songs of Conquest. This game delivers that same turn-based strategy experience with an impressive art style and immersive world.

Highly Recommended Revamp of MMIII

Songs of Conquest is a very credible attempt at a revamp of Heroes of Might & Magic III style games. It is the best recent attempt I've seen of this style of game alogn with Spellforce: Conquest of Eo, Songs of Silence and Silence of the Siren. Five stars from me - highly recommend.
