Objective:
Use all means necessary to find and secure four stolen nuclear warheads. Track and stop the terrorist organization responsible for the theft before they can carry out their thermonuclear holocaust. Dispatch as many terrorists, skinheads and enemy soldiers as necessary to complete your mission. Failure is not an option.
Parameters:
10 covert missions take you through the political hot spots of 5 different continents during 26 levels of play. Your arsenal includes ultra-realistic real-world weapons. Enemies are numerous, and a good mercenary knows that wits and intelligence are just as important as guns and ammo.

The Start of Modern Warfare
Its a really fun easy game to play through, its still has some replayability, and is worth your time if you like something in between Half Life and Delta Force 1

Okay guys this is peak
Another reason for why Activision should sell off Raven Software to a different publisher and stop their enslavement to Call of Duty. This game was made in the Quake II Engine and that should be enough to tell you that this game will be epic. Here's something you should do right off of the bat: put Texture Filtering to None. That will make the game even more retro looking and pixelated. It also makes the graphics less crappy (especially the weapon models) because texture filtering looks like crap in the older id Tech Engines. There's a community patch for the game but it introduces a couple issues such as sound effects not working properly in the latter levels and random crashes upon reloading. The guns have actual audible power behind them aside from the sniper rifle and 9mm handgun. The gibbing feels like Quake 1's but more advanced by having individual body parts being severed from the cadaver rather than just the entire body being gibbed all at once. You will not be playing this for the story, however you will be playing this for the action and gibbing. This IS a game you WILL be adding to your GOG librar, I promise you won't regret it!

Action movie goodness
Ever watch a 90s or early 2000s action flic and think "I'd love to play the game version of this". Look no further. The story is bonkers ridiculous fun with a badass set of protagonists. The weapons are devastating, sometimes the button-hunting got me running in circules but that is just how it was back then. Overall, a damn good time.
