Great Remake
Haven't finished it completely yet with around 11 hours in, but so far i really love this remake. This is how you make a great remake faithful to the original (looking at you RE2R and 3R). Awesome game and can't wait to finish it again over 20 years after the orignal game.

Standalone it's great, but..
When compared to the original, plot seems a bit more shallow in parts, what unfortunately was expected - there is just no way to beat original vision from Team Silent all those years ago. Additionally, full point taken away because of the way dealing with enemies counts towards your ending - in a very bad way. Similarly to Blair Witch, it's just a bad idea, counterintuitive to any player's instinct.

its a bit buggy
so i'm playing with an overclocked 5600x at 4.3 ghz and a 7700 xt 12gb. it keps freezing up but not fully i can tab in and out to fix it, but it's happening a decent amount.

love it!!!
i played the original on PS2 and i lived it. seeing this beaytifully faithful remake makes me feel loke a teen again and i specially love that the buttons prompts are playstation buttons since i transitioned from PS5 to PC
