Captures the 4x Genre

Not a single other game I have okayed atches the strategy of this game. Truly a must buy for any person looking for a rich and captivating experience that Sid Meier gives in Alpha Centauri.

My most replayed game, EVER...

I love SMAC, and the easiest way to play with the Aliens is by going into the game files and send the Terranx file to the desktop (Make a link). I usually have a folder labelled ''Games'' that I put all of my current games and long time favourites, to save clutter on the desktop, but the Terranx file is rarely moved

Almost There

I love this game as there's a lot of nostalgia here. Sadly, I'm not seeing the Alien Crossfire, and the multiplayer game only saves as a hot seat even though we were playing Internet TCP.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri Planetary Pak

A bit too confusing at first, with what the new techs do and how to best terraform the terrain, and the game has some story flaws, but it's as addicting as any previous Civ game. Only wish there were more leader profiles to work with. There are only 7 leaders in A.C. altho there are 7 more in the Crossfire add-on. 3.7/5 stars.

Might be old, graphics are dated and controls are a little clunky but it's FANTASTIC.
