A must buy game besides Witcher on GOG!
I fu*king love this game, I've beat Doom too, trust me SW2 is much better, you won't regret buying this.

A Homage to Diablo
Shadow Warrior 2 (SW2) isn't looking to break new ground, but refine existing genres with their own interpretation. Taking the fast pace slice, dice, and shooting of their first game and blending it with the procedural generated mechanics spearheaded by Diablo, SW2 makes for an enjoyable, shooter for single and multiplayer experiences. The studio made a savy design decision in keeping with the original engine and just building off of it. While you can see some age in the visuals of the game, the art design and core mechanics overcompensate this, allowing you to dismiss it as frivilous (it is). The art design and set pieces are well done and exotic, allowing a range for a huge range of designs to keep a fresh look in the game. Also, using an older engine allows for you to ramp up the settings without sacrificing speed or smoothness. SW2 is a blast; while it's not cutting edge nor ground breaking, it provides a well design experience that is fast, fluid, and smooth that's well worth the money I put down for it. This is a title where I can get lots of replay and look forward to DLC content that will add upon an already solid experience.

Impressive how bad it really is
Such a waste of time, 20+ hours and I was starting to think maybe the game is getting better but no, its such a chore to do anything in this game, wanna upgrade a gun? Grind, Wanna find some more purple orbs to buff the stats forever on your favorite gun? Grind, wanna get some cool new weapons? Grind. The level design is so just bizzare, I truly don't think anyone play tested this game as I have had multiple situations where I was simply stuck for 20-30 minutes in the games "story mission" where I couldn't tell what god forsaken direction the game wants me to go since the minimap doesn't even have a guide trail that works right due to the levels being RNG. Simply put its disgusting trash, if you have a short attention span and like garbage like Pedolands maybe its for you.

All the good things about an RPG married with kickass FPS action. The melee gameplay is incredible addictive. Absolutely recommended.

Diablo/PoE + Doom combination - love it
This game is awesome if you like Diablo 3 or PoE loot system and you combine it with Doom (fps) gore you get Shadow Warrior 2. Pros: it is lot of fun and great gameplay. In game the graphic is like in this year Doom. It has great optimization. I never had any issues with it. (i7 3770K, Geforce 660GTX, 32GB DDR3 - on high settings, never experienced frame drops) Cons: Cut scenes models looks and feels like it is remake from 2010 game. (it feels like low polys models). I highly recommend it if you like: gore, loot, fps and fun. I love Doom 2016 but this is much better than Doom :) ------------------------- Thank you GoG for your services.
