another gem memory

i remember how stunned my big brother, my friends & me were when we had the full version on a cd by a pc-magazine....was fun all the way even just playing with a keyboard....we were even more excited when we had the demo of screamer 2 on a cd.... i could remember the game but not the name, here i found it randomly...thnx... it's a nice add-on for my 2 lil i4770/i4790 4gb gpu 8/16gb ram win10 pc's; on them i play older pc (90's - early2010's)/dos/amiga-emu games...still looking out for older cheap games on sale...

It Truly is a SCREAMER!!!

Look.. the graphics are not 2009.... but the action is better than any racing game I have played for the last 5 years. I bought this when it came out.. and it rocks.. to be able to play on my systems now bring me back to that time when a racing game itself was a thrill, and the only thing I wanted more in the world was a steering whell and pedals to complete the mental picture. Its a great game.. great physics, great cars.. and most of all.. ITS FUN!!!!... Stop reading this review NOW, and go buy the game.. its' just over 5 bucks.. you'll spend hours wondering why the newer games aren't this much fun anymore...

It's not Ridge Racer

Reading some of the reviews here brought up my interesert for this game. Bought it and tested it. Well, it's a pretty standard arcade racer - not to be compared to real classics like sega rally or ridge racer. Playing this is neither fun nor exciting. Sorry, but this game is only average It may be a different story if you played it back there when it was originally released and have some nostalgic feeling. But from my point of view, who had't played it in the 90ties - the game has nothing spcecial at all.

Not at all what I remember..

I loved playing this game when I was younger, thought it was the fastest, most fun racer ever created. Then I booted it up, and it sure has aged.. Bad framerate and unresponsive controls just made it unplayable for me. But, it was cheap, and I believe I played a pirated version back then that I had a lot of fun with, so I'm not harking for a refund. ;)
