In truth, Scorn doesn’t tell a particularly fascinating story, but it hardly matters; the way in which it’s told is done to perfection, and provides an incredibly refreshing horror experience that truly gets under your skin.

Scorn works wonders with Giger's and Beksiński's artwork, not only in terms of aesthetic fidelity but in creating a world that's utterly strange to exist in. This is a violent, painful, but fascinating place, thick with symbolism and interlocking puzzles that hint at some terrifying grand design. While it can be overly obscure and frustrating, especially in combat, Scorn serves up one hell of a journey.

Scorn is a hard game to pin down, but it’s one I can’t help but recommend. It’s disgustingly alluring in its visual execution, with each new location bringing with it a waterfall of questions as you poke, prod, and cower at every discovery. This ambition of being artsy and cryptic can hold it back at points, but there’s something fiercely admirable in its artistic vision that few games in the genre are able to match. This is a tragic horror of Lovecraftian proportions, and one that really must be seen to be believed.

Not a game for everyone

I played the game a while ago on gamepass and now got it through prime gaming. This game is a masterpiece when it comes to atmosphere and graphics, I truely felt immersed. The story is something you have to figure out / watch videos on, which is something I still need to get to. But I do like having to figure it out. The puzzles are a bit complex, but I enjoyed them. I wish there were more though. The combat in this game is pretty bad / boring, its really the only thing holding this game back. I'll be replaying the game with a few mods which I hope fix most of its issues, pushing this game into my top 10-5.

Scorn is all the better for not having any form of instructions / tutorial. Discovering the game mechanics and basking in the glorious and grotesque art style is amazing.

A Walking Simlulator but in a good way

Interesting game, bit of a surprise in a good way. The visual and sound is very impressive, especially that the game is already a few years old. No map and no hud. You have to pay attention where you are going and remember where things are. Mostly satisifled with the puzzles. They are nicely ballaed with the solving difficulty. At times the game can be a bit frustrated. Definately a game for an older audience. Not much shooting, but mostly puzzles and memorizing where you are and where things are located.

WEIRDLY GOOD AND BAD

This game was really something unique but the game has quite a lot of flaws , the flaws are quite noticeable ex : poor combat , hard to follow , tedious puzzles , and quite a hard story to understand . But don't worry this game has the guts to terrify you and the music really is quite wonderful fabulous to the point it creeps you out every single time and the MOST BEAUTIFUL AND ARTISTICALLY GORY DESIGN with quite an arsenal of weapons and a cool healing system . I would say it is a must buy as it gave me an experience that would last in my mind if the other quirks were fixed it would truly be THE PERFECT GAME i rate it a 4 out of 5

good game, however relies heavily on your own problem solving skills as there is no instruction whatsoever, however once you are on track, the game is brilliant.
