Great Game
Spent about two hours in the game getting a hand of the world before I decided to start over with a new build and different goals in mind. It was so surprising how even the opening meeting at the camp went so different. Resources changed based on my disposition, which I only noticed on repeat playthroughs.

Solid Text based RPG

Text adventure with dense atmosphere
I am now in my 2nd playthrough. The graphics style is minimalistic and reminds of oldschool text-based adventures (in some cases one needs to type in commands!), as do the mini-puzzels, and one needs to do a lot of reading. A LOT. But: the texts are well written, and the story that unfolds is dense and gripping. If you like the dark mood of the Witcher, ambigous decisions with consequences as well as the constant feeling that there is never enough time to do everyone right (my first playthrough resulted in some really bad results for some characters that I started to like), then this is your game. Plus: the soundtrack is minimalistic (guitar + piano and a bit of electronic effects) but contributes massively to the overall feeling of the game. Best play with headphones & when you are alone.

Beautifully Melancholic and Accessible
Such a well-written game; every single ending epilogue slide was perfect. Both the great changes and successes and the tragedies that my actions contributed to. It was all inevitable and exactly as it was meant to be for my warden. Don't be intimidated by the format - it is rewarding to roleplay through without reloading and stick to the 'time limit' of your excursion as originally intended, but it is equally as rewarding to use quick save and quick load to try out different tactics and play on easy difficulty to remove the time constraints.

Great game
Definitely one of the better games I have played in awhile. I really like the art style, even if it leaves me blind after playing for 5 hours. The theme and setting are great, music is good. I liked the characters, thought they were well-written. There are a lot of choices you are given, and exhausting dialogue is not a strategy. You need to be careful with how you phrase things. If you have experience with these types of games, you're probably looking at 8-12 hours of gameplay on your first run. If you have a LOT of experience with these types of games (like me), you'll discover pretty much everything there is to do, and there won't actually be a lot of replay value. I had a few minor issues. Some quests are tailored to specific classes, and I believe one even bugged out for me so I couldn't resolve it. I ended up loading an earlier save which kinda sucked. There's also the issue of how these types of games sometimes handle dialogue. Sometimes you think you're choosing a good choice, but it's a really bad choice. This game does a pretty good job of making you feel like you're choosing the right thing, but I occasionally had some confusion. Finally, there is a particular path I took that I thought would resolve a big part of the ending. It didn't matter what choices I choose (I quick saved / loaded to check), just seems like that's not a viable path. Lastly, there is a review on here speaking about a large amount of "woke-ness" in this game, and I think they are exaggerating. Most characters have a tattered past, which reflects the environment and locations. The female characters do as well, it's not just the males, so I'm guessing that reviewer didn't play much.
