Thallos - once a mighty warrior and leader - is now forgotten and cast aside. His tribes scattered and his totems lost. Ananke with her brothers Erebus and Tartarus have risen against him, jealous of the favour their parents had shown him. Left for dead in exile, Thallos survived using the land around him. Although weak he knew his moment to restore his people and recover his totems would come. Biding his time, waiting. And that moment was before him, that moment was now …"

Reprisal Universe takes the form of a RTS following the plight of Thallos as he travels to distant shores reprising his people and gathering the ten lost Amulets of his tribes. Help Thallos by controlling nature itself, raising and lowering land, unleashing lighting storms, tidal waves, volcanoes and more.

Visually set in it’s defining tilt-shift style, you begin on Thallos home planet of Euporie, you will be able to explore over 32 planets of uncharted lands, extending your influence and working together with other explorers by revealing your discoveries and progress in Reprisal Universe. Although initially procedurally generated, the Universe changes and evolves with collective player left legacies - you too will be able to leave behind your mark for other players to encounter.

Consequences of bad choices

Oh well, not everyone knows, but this game is much older then it looks. Its was initially released in 2008 as rather simplistic God sim (at core point nothing changed). It was made on Flash, so that from where all that lags and technical issies comes from. Years later developers decided to rework it in BIG NEW Game with same core mechanics. And they did, sorta. Main problem is that its still flash based, still laggy, still buggy. And yeah, promised Linux build was scraped as usual. Not like its worst game ever, but its so full of ideas didnt worked right - initial simple mechanics is plays nicely on Big Universe, its laggs and so on. The good point is that games features GREAT chiptune soundtrack well worth listening along. Somehow soundtrac is making up a lot for game weakness.

A great throwback to classic Populous

If you want a fun god-game style RTS or are specifically looking for a throwback to the glory days of Populous, Repisal is a great way to scratch that itch.

Coffee break populous

The game itself is nice and relaxing, with the longest tutorial ever (30 missions). Then start the real game: flatten and hammer your enemies with storm, volcanoes or whatever you found adequate. However, from a map to a another, the differences are quite small (sometimes earthquake will happen, some power are not available, ...), no increase of difficulty. An average map is about 5 minute to complete. And that is were the game catch right. You should not see this as a full scale game, but more a coffee break game, or "wait that your potatoes are cooked"-game. In this role it is good. However only 3 stars because well, from the 1st to the last level, there are little differences.

Does not work on Apple M1.

LAUNCH:Application requires i386 and cannot be launched, reprisal node= status=-10386 Such a shame.

Cheap and pathetic

This game is clearly a direct rip off of Populous 2. Just buy Populous 2. Screw these plagerizing lazy asses that can't come up with their own original ideas, so they remake a game that's over 20 years old and hope no one notices. Seriously, to hell with this company.
