Rebel Galaxy simplifies the formula in an approachable and exciting way, but the 2D space combat, lack of direction and loneliness of single-player space-faring hold it back from reaching the epic scale of other space sims. A fun solo venture, but it won't suck out thousands of your hours.

With a vast world with a huge amount to do, set in a space western and an outstanding soundtrack to accompany it, Rebel Galaxy has a simple but engaging and visually spectacular combat system. Rebel Galaxy has more than enough to keep you engaged, though best played in small doses.

Buggy
Yeah, what can I say, just played this Game for a few Minutes and it crushed to times. It crushed the entire PC that nothing works anymore. Than the Handling of this game is like a bad joke. You can't even save in a proper way! The game saves automatic, when docking on a station, fine. But it also saves every time when you live the game and because there is only one saveslot your progress alwys gets overwritten, if you like it or not. My opinion not playable.

Really bad
Wow this is a horrible game. Who can give this game 5 stars? Its a space game and you can't move up or down LMAO. nuff said. Horrible controls, and I had to mute the music (really cringey). Uninstalled after 30 minutes.

Terrible game balance
Started the game. Did the first two story kind of missions, which I assume were part of tutorial. Went great. After that, tried to do regular missions. Took "low risk" pirate hunting missions. Got completely slaughtered. OK, maybe I need to do something different at frist. Took a "low risk" delivery mission. That mission took me to a station surrounded by enemy capital ships, uncounted numbers of fighters, loads of missiles being launched. Best I could do was boost out of there with a huge repair bill. Kept trying. Didn't just give up. Some missions it was downright impossible to escape the overwhemling enemies from the low risk missions. Sorry to all those who figured out the game's secret, but a game this unfriendly to new players is made by ametures or people who simply don't know how to make good games. And I don't want to hear "Oh it's an indie dev crew of 1-3 people" excuse. I've played many indie games with far better game balance than this that were made by 1-3 person(s).
