Great game with amazing soundtrack!
The best game in Rayman franchise. Even after all those years the difficulty is high enough to keep you playing for decent amount of hours, although the whole game is not that long. Still, if you haven't tried it before it's a must play! Soundtrack - one of best in the history of games. Along with Bastion and Hollow Knight. In my humble opinion ofc :) The gameplay is very interesting and each location has it's own surprises. I'm amazed how much thought have been put into the design of the levels. That's a high standard even for 2019. Try it. You'll love it.

Rayman 2: The one that got me hooked
Rayman 2 was a game I played before even seeing Rayman 1. After playing the PC version for an hour, I got the PSone game as a kid. While I know it was the lacking port of the two, coming full circle for the PC version was magical. Rayman 2 PC features the CD quality soundtrack present outside the N64 version, but the crisper frame rate and rendering of the ports other than PSone. I honestly feel the Dreamcast version is still crisper, but barring the multiplayer content (and anything added for Revolution) this is definitely the best way to enjoy Rayman 2 at its core. Great music, great levels, fun and engaging gameplay. Rayman 2 offers everything a sequel should, with an occasional mechanic or two that can take a while. BUT each mechanic is thematic and this makes it arguably MORE enjoyable.

A classic Plateformer
A classic plateformer game from the PS1/N64 Era, the game is really good, not too hard, not too easy with some moment that will require all your attention. It's as classic as it get, jump around in different levels, find all the cage and destroy them, find all the lums, and defeat the pirate along the way. Some minor point can be annoying, sometime the camera can get stuck in a corner and cannot move out. It's impossible to remap the control, so for French keyboard user it can be annoying and the newest controler (Xbox one for me) doesn't work for the game and I had to play throught only using keyboard (which is annoying, but far from being impossible, I finished the game 100% only using the keyboard) Would recommend 100%

Could be an awesome game...
Could be an awesome, maybe one of the best games ever, if it was not for: - terrible controls, keyboard mapping that cannot be changed in the game options, and placed in very uncomfortable way; - treacherous camera that lives its own live and changes the angles whenever it like, making you fall to your death all the time. - .... and the most of all, freaking levels with the freaking running rockets, each running with different speed so you cannot pick the correct timing, blowing up even if you landed successfully after your jump... On another rockets level, after like millions of attempts to beat it just dropped the game.
