After 10 hours of game-play I can say that the game has a very good foundation. The art and music were great and everything worked smoothly. There is no unnecessary fluff and it cuts straight to the action. Although the progression and combat system could use some work, I think it's a good game. I'm interested to see what changes will be made in the future.
Tried Everything but became stealth archer and maxed Crafting First. Combat was pretty good, story was just enough to get me going, and the gameplay loop was better balanced than Diablo 4,
The game runs silky smooth, the visuals are clean and realistic considering the poly non-textured way they are presented. The lockpicking is a nice change of pace from the usual. The skill tree allows you to build the character the way you like it. Fast traveling allows for extended fun either in town or in dungeons, then zip back to make potions, craft, etc.
It's so good, I look up and an hour has zipped by. Thanks for putting the game on GOG, I only get games here now.
Although they describe various melee classes, you are free to mix and match, (looking at you full steath weilding massive two handed blade for Stealth kills. it has progression of a non-soulcrushing level (and I am a recovering "Trials of Atlantis" kind of player). the bodies ragdoll, and who doesn't love ragdolls? (looking at you Cyberpunk 2077 with dead bodies with arms straight up). The dev is still working on this but I have encountered no bugs, it runs on a toaster I am guessing so tale end tech types, will love the game for that if nothing else. GOG's return policy ensures you will keep it only if you want to as you will find the hours go by. I gave it 5 stars, but I would have given it 6, if they included powerful magic, not in the game maybe never I don't know, but shooting the bow from stealth is tasty.
