Too many puzzles, otherwise great!
This game has several issues, most of which are graphical (the aliasing is terrible, I recommend using ReShade/sweetfx to force SMAA), but the biggest problem this has is that there are way too many puzzles, which is too bad because most of them are actually really well made, it's just that you're put through so many of them that it gets grinding and really takes away from the really well made world they made. All in all, if you enjoy Myst-style games, you'll likely enjoy this, though don't feel bad about looking for a walkthrough if you're stuck on a puzzle for too long because otherwise you'll be playing this for an obscene amount of time.

not for me
I like puzzlers, really do. But Quern ... It looks nice on first (and maybe second) glance, but thats pretty much it. Sure, there is some logic in the puzzles (and they become more and more resistant to bruteforcing). I wish i'd taken a look into a video walkthrough before I bought the game... 2/5. Haven't finished. Won't ever. Love talos.

Can't play it!
I tried to alter the settings as much as possible but still the mouse control is rubbish (Mac OS Sonoma). It's jerky and sweeps from one side of the screen to the other making it impossible to click on anything. The keyboard control isn't much better. Therefore, I gave up before getting started. This is the third game I've bought from GOG that just doesn't work properly. Appalling service and out of time to return it.

Underwhelming, ugly
It has the flavor of Myst, even down to ripping out some music chords from their soundtrac. I did enjoy the puzzles but the exploration part was nauseating, jaggy views, ugly scenery that looked like sub par unity game. I tried messing with settings to reduce the nausea, kudos to them allowing users to tweak head bob, blur, field of view etc. But it still was jerky movement with the mouse. Will give it a rest and come back later perhaps
