It's okay, just kind of exhausting

40 minute long levels with multiple keys and buttons that unlock gates accross a massive map with nearly 1000 enemies per level and a map that is useless because the game is incredibly vertically designed and the map is 2d and only shows your current vertical level. The sword is useless, I don't know why there needs to be a stamina metre for it. Only 4 weapons you'll actually use, (5 with the sword). The different parts of the levels all look the same. This game has potential but as it is now it's just not fun and exhausting to play, I don't like such massive levels and there are just too many enemies.

almost fun

Its a lower standard than many of the othe retro shooters but its worst aspect is teleporting hitscan enemies into the room all around you. thats just not fun, which is a crime in these kind of games.

Learn to love the Bottleneck

I really liked the first installment. It was a slow paced shooter with really good leveldesign wich one could play if everything else was just a bit too much for the moment. The sequel of PW is kind of the exact opposite. It plays fast, death comes very easy, more enemies that bumrush you in numbers, f***ing hitscanners, a more linear leveldesign, not a second where nothing gnaws at you and most of the time you walk backwards to the last chokepoint while shooting hundreds of the same enemies again and again. Still a good game, it runs speed and gameplay wise in the same direction as DREAD TEMPLAR but it is not a good sequel to the first installment. FORGIVE ME FATHER is preferable for scratching the itch left by the the first PW.

Just Hope for MORE!

As 40years old fan of DOOM, Quake, Wolf and all this fast labirynt shoters i realy like this game. +graphic +gameplay +monsters and weapons -music (I prefer Warlock1 music) More retro synths less metal

Avast's worst enemy

The game is very good. Fast paced and shooting is satisfying. However... Avast hates this game. I was trying to run it for an hour. First of all, anytime I tried to start the game, the system would remove the exe file from the folder. After the forth reinstallation, when I run the exe file as Administrator, I couldn't save the game. Finally I had to add the game folder and exe file to Avast exclusions to finally play the game just like anybody else. I won't s**t on the game for it but someone from the crew should look into it.
