Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is a faithful adaptation of the tabletop RPG, featuring an engaging story, well-written characters, and extremely deep gameplay mechanics. Although Owlcat Games' did their best to make the game feel welcoming to newcomers with plenty of in-game resources and tutorials, and difficulty customization options, the depth of the experience can be intimidating. Those who brave through the initial confusion, however, will find one of the best computer RPGs released in recent times.

Unplayable on Mac M1
Just like the title says. The game is a buggy mess on Apple machines, which it was advertised to as well. I can't progress past chapter 1, because of the infinite loading screen. There is tons of different memory leaks as well, which are making the game freeze after an hour or so. Aside from that the game seems interesting. Seems, because I can't play the product I have paid for.

Fun but lots of bugs and crashes,
The gameplay is fun if you like D&D 3e, however the balance may be a bit off. The exp is about 1/10~1/100 of tabletop, then divides again by 15 spread among your followers. The biggest problem is it still has lots of bugs. One npc can get locked in cage without leaving and get infinite items, pet sometimes runs backward, NPC become T pose once you finish a certain mythic quest, etc,. While some enemies are overpowered having a challenge rating over epic level, some enemies get odd stats like undead bear have 10 hp despite being level 10?? Also the game throws 2 level 20 enemies at you when you're around lv.9, you can drop one of the enemy to 1 hp but it would just keeps fighting for like 3 rounds without giving you extra exp, stingy :/ There are lots of paths and even now many walkthroughs are still missing things, it's still fun to play blind.

What an adventure
I am so glad I got to play this game. It is incredibly challenging, rythm is sometimes a bit slow, companions have strong personalities, adventure takes you to incredible places, your choices have impacts on the story. It definitely goes in my great few games list, together with original baldur's gate series.

True gem
Probably the best isometric RPG ever played. If you are looking for another Baldur's Gate 2, this game is exactly for you.
