Ostriv

It feels very close to Settlers 2 and banished, but without some weirdness of banished. Take your time and pause, look, give your orders what to build. And you will fail the first mission on the first try 'cause you didn't manage to build enough houses before winter, mostly due to resource exhaustion. Though your don't actually fail, just some inhabitants will leave the settlement. The balance is good, the game is very relaxing to play, even though things are obviously missing and marked with a "will come soon". The music fits nicely to the game as well.

A beautiful and highly-detailed city-building game with full freedom of placement and management options. I've spent hundreds of hours enjoying Ostriv already, and the newest update is just more to love! I play a lot of city-builders, and can say this one stands far above with its details and customization. You provide homes and production buildings, and the citizens build their own lives within. They choose where to live and work, when and where to rest, what foods to eat, and who to marry. The newest update, Alpha 5, lets you see more of their personal lives in the town you've built for them. Feels like a finished game, not an alpha. I've only seen occasional minor graphical glitches, which disappear with reloading the saved game. Alpha 5 introduced several new buildings, decorations, and UI improvements, and more additions are planned. Looking forward to upcoming development on this already extraordinary game!

Ostriv - is now my favorite city-building game! The general atmosphere and attention to the details are on the top. Ukrainian village from 18 century looks awesome!

This will be an utterly class city builder, when it is ready. Loved playing a few hours with this. Not quite a game yet, but very worthy of early interest. The essentials are there, and it is completely stable. Give the developer time and I'm 100% certain this will outclass others in its genre ... past and present. Massive potential! Go for it, Yevhen - you are making a diamond game!
