Entertaining, funny and thought-provoking in all the right places, Not For Broadcast is a hugely engrossing foray into the nightly news arena. You’ll laugh your face off at times, but like the best satire, it’s also disquieting enough to have you uncomfortably squirming in your seat.

Great Concept, Very Fun

Man the controls of the editing bay at the nightly news. A bit of a peak behind the scenes of a real production, includes lots of fun bits and fake commericials and even a few musical numbers Keep the camera on the action though or else viewers will tune out! Oh... And do you want to air the stuff the government wants you to see, or do you let the rag tag group of resistance fighters get their clips on the air?

Insane Dystopian Broadcasting

It's charming and frustrating, but this game has me hooked. If you enjoy stuff like the Beholder series, Papers Please, and other commentaries on dystopian politics, then you'll probably love this one. This game has a wild, cartoonish, and frankly absurd sense of humor - sometimes the jokes land really well, sometimes they're cringy. But when it's more serious, the story is incredibly engaging, and when it's not then you're scrambling to keep your perfect broadcast score up during a politician's drunken rant. Definitely not for everyone, but certainly worth the time to try it out. High recommend.

GREAT FUN!

I am not even very good at this, but enjoying it anyway. Kind of a 'tell' for me is if a game has a learning curve, but as Others say here is also GOOD, and a GOOD TIME. I thought not to review, everyone here says it so well; but for 2025 thought a more recent one (the ones I read!) is in order: Not For Broadcast is still GREAT FUN; not really my thing, but very glad I bought it. Finally, for those into FMV, video editing with gameplay, I can not imagine any complaints about this one at all. More for nostalgia, novelty, I'll try these, but I already made more progress than expected actually playing this one lately, because it is FUN to learn. It is mainly that one has to hurry to censor, edit, and all of this that is new to me, but if I don't mind, I think more experienced at this will enjoy it even more than I am: Five Stars, and no issues at all on my Win 10, i5, 16gb mem, 4gb nv1050 display. Laugh and Enjoy!
