Amazing advanture!

pros: - Graphics: Art style and the attention to detail is incredible, you feel the cyberpunk word in every detail. - Story: Rich and interesting story, well written and keeps you engaged through the entire campaign. - Game-play: You feel like a detective, gadgets are cool to use. cons: - The game play loop while engaging it's not deep enough or varied enough. - The game is a bit short, approximately 6h. It's well worth the money! if your into cyberpunk in any way or like detective stories it a strong recommendation.

So-so experience

After completing the game in about 5.5 hours, I am torn whether to recommend it or not. The game has significant optimisation issues where some scenes are a stuttery mess - I mean it looks amazing in a lot of places but it gives the impression that there was little done to actually make it playable without FSR. It also has a story that is somewhere between ok and decent, nice world-building and good voice actors. However, some scenes felt overly on rails, with the game expecting the player to be in an exact spot to trigger the next step or enforcing a certain sequence instead of allowing the player to explore the crime scenes (the game's main puzzles) in their own way. It is a walking simulator of decent length with pretty graphics and some issues (especially optimisation).

An interactive movie

What can I say... it's a superb game in terms of artistic direction, graphics and sound (both voice acting and music), but it's more of an interactive movie, a walking sim, than a game per se . The premise and the story are interesting, as is the idea around which the whole game actually revolves, namely that of acquiring "immortality" through the possibility of transferring your consciousness from one body to another, either immediately after "death", or at a later time by keeping your consciousness in a kind of "consciousness bank". Otherwise, a somewhat classic detective and serial killer story, where the killer does what he does driven by a "noble" cause (in his opinion). A story that unfortunately ticks many of the clichés of the genre. All in all, an average game, mostly saved by the atmosphere, graphics and sound.

Decent visual novel experience

Just finished the game. Overall I liked it. It has this Max Payne-ish detective feeling . but set in Cyberpunk noir kind of world. In terms of gameplay, there's nothing much really, you just click around, use some simple tools, so it's just the story that is important here. And the story is good. No clear "good" or "bad" endings, as one can argue cases for both. It has a very deep message here. The Ichorite system that people use to transfer their conscience to another body, man you can really go into deep discussing about this. In theory, amazing technology to extend human life and use it for the greater good. but in practice a very flawed system that bad and rich people have access to, while the poor are being farmed like cattle. Pretty much like our world today, but without Ichorite. In summary, a decent visual-novel type of game. If you like good and deep stories , definitely a buy, otherwise you can skip it. Depends what kind of games you enjoy.

Good story.

Its good game you play for the story only similar to Firewatch. Story is great and the investigation reconstruction gimmic is pretty cool to use so... would recommend!
