We make games live forever! Since 2008 we enhance good old games ourselves, to guarantee convenience and compatibility with modern systems. Even if the original developers of the game do not support it anymore.
This game will work on current and future most popular Windows PC configurations. DRM-free.
This is the best version of this game you can buy on any PC platform.
We are the only platform to provide tech support for the games we sell. If some issues with the game appear, our Tech Support will help you solve them.

Music playback has been fixed, so the soundtrack works as intended.
While MK2 was arguably the best 2D game in the old Mortal Kombat series, MK Trilogy packs all the karakters, fatalities, and arenas into one game. Plays nice with XInput (360/XB1) gamepads. Extremely low hardware requirements. Solid couch 2P versus. Worth ten bones and often on sale for even less.
Thanks!!! GOG.com. Really like this game on my old sega saturn and having it available for modern pc is amazing...
Pros:
-just as you remember it
-no mid round loading times like playstation and saturn
-no long doading times between fights
-cheatcodes are the same here.
-runs in windows 10 no issues.
-works great with reshade 5.3.0 if you want scanlines and sharp pixels
-automatically configures my 8bitdo snes controller just as i like it.
cons:
-some graphics glitches in windowed mode but fullscreen is fine.
-sometimes crashes when exiting the game.
- doesn't seem to like xbox one controllers, can't use d-pad on mine.
Before I begin my review, I need to address the misinformation in the most recent review.
Yes, you can remap the controls — it’s in the Options menu. For those who aren’t familiar or are on the fence about purchasing, here’s what to expect:
The game starts in fullscreen by default.
Press Esc to enter windowed mode, and once the game finishes loading, you’ll be able to access the Options menu (it may be grayed out during load).
From there, you can remap controls as needed.
The default control layout actually makes sense:
A = Low Punch
X = High Punch
Y = High Kick
B = Low Kick
Now, for those buying this hoping for smooth controller support across all titles: MK1 to MK3 use DOS versions, which naturally come with limited controller support. That’s a limitation of the original platform, not GOG. It would’ve been great if GOG offered the Midway Arcade Treasures version (which includes the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection), but that was delisted from Steam over a decade ago — so don’t hold your breath.
As for Mortal Kombat Trilogy (MKT) — this is the version you want.
GOG’s version is pre-patched and works out of the box on modern systems. If you have the original Windows 95 release, you’d need the Kommunity Patch to even get basic controller support and compatibility working.
One of the best mortal Kombat game that I ever played, more codes, more characters, and fixes of the plain mk3 & ultimate mortal Kombat 3 version… buy it if you’re into mortal Kombat
