Mortal Kombat Trilogy

Classic, the definitive game of the series is worth every penny spent, I prefer this one with real actors digitized a tip for those who want to play with the full screen filled with no black borders, just go to the folder where you installed the game and open the directX configuration (dxcfg) Aspect Ratio Correction and select the Disabled option.

A perfect playable copy of MKT and much best with reshade crt effect. I love this game

I've been asking for this game for a while. It's not the DOS version, it's running under Windows natively. Thanks to the GOG team for restoring this great fighting game.

The same as the PS1 version (NOT an emulation, don't misunderstand please) without the frustrating loading times, and to play as Chameleon you just gotta hold HP and LP instead of that six button combination that I can't remember right now... Btw, the Classic characters are unlocked with 7 on the NumPad, if you're player 1. There's DualShock 4 support too, BUT try not to lose connection when the game is loaded, otherwise after you reconnect your DS4, you have to restart the game to be recognized again. About the swapped music, it is almost fixed... almost because there are still some flaws: as an example, MK2 The Armory uses its theme! But MK2 Kombat Tomb uses The Armory song... BUT Kombat Tomb song is used in MK2 The Portal! What?? (also there are certain stages like MK1's Courtyard which use MK3 music, but I guess it's just game limitations since that MK1 song is not in the game. There's also no music at the end of the rounds, as always. Another game limitation, I guess) Intro videos can't be skipped tho', ugh... Anyway, if you're looking for the PS1 experience enhaced, then this is your version. It runs nice, and (of course) it's pretty fun.

MKT is THE best way to experience classic 2D MK. Everything is under one roof: You have all the fighters and playable bosses from the 2D era, all the stages, all the fatalities, animalities, babalities, friendships, stage fatalities and now brutalities as options for finishing the fight. The Kombo system was slightly overhauled with this release, too, allowing you to pull off pre-designed ones as well as ones you freely make through your own skill. It gets typically OTT as you can imagine! I still remember using a special move starter to string into a Kombo and being able to put together Kung Lao's 13-hit Kombo: The most I could do with any character. The music and sound effects are as thunderous and impactful as they were in the arcade cabinets, and the animations still look superb. Don't miss the attract mode either, with its character profiles and full screen pictures of the fighters! Playing with Kung Lao? Then I send you my friendship! Away, Away, Away, Down, High Kick. <3
