Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™ Game of the Year Edition

Get into the game and everything is fine. Maybe it's been too long, I have forgotten some of the worldview of the Lord of the Rings, the plot and setting are not very clear, and the story told by the antiquities system is relatively vague, I only know that I need to destroy the orcs and save them world. After entering the second map, the gameplay of the game gradually unfolded, allowing me to have more and more interesting ways to kill enemies and build my own subordinates. But when I got through, I felt like everything was boring. The final boss battle was just a few simple stealth assassinations and a few QTEs, and the skills I learned seemed like a joke. Before the last mission, I made a kind of collection, but it just popped up an achievement box for me, without any reward, so I didn't understand the meaning of collecting.

The gameplay on the other hand is fantastic as your not just killing everyone in sight but also branding them and having them join your casue. There is no final boss fight with the Dark Lord in the main story so spoiler. I love it.

The controls are anything but intuitive, absolutely nothing is explained, if you have the misfortune to be spotted by an enemy the only solution is to flee before all the enemies on the map come on you. I absolutely do not recommend this game. Buying smarties and throwing them away without eating them would be a much better use of your money.

It would be a good game if it were not set in Middle Earth, whose atmosphere it does not respect

Few days ago i was planning on getting it on steam. Few of the games i wanted to play when announce. Never play it.
