I own all of them separately, the package itself is worth all these 3 games and their extra content, super enjoyable franchise for those who love immersive first person shooters with a dreary post soviet post apocalypse aesthetic
As the title of my review says, the games are...I don't know. I can't describe in words. You have to play the series to understand what I mean. The games are something else, masterpieces.
The stories of all 3 games and the 2 DLC's of Exodus are brilliant. No matter how you play, whatever the end you get (good or bad), it hits you right in the feels. For me, the stories hit me so hard, no other game did that to me.
The characters are awesome, you start to love them from the very start. The character developement is so cool and well done. Some of their lines stick with you.
The gameplay is awesome, the gunplay and the stealth are intense.
The music... damn, that music. Instant goosebumps. Every game has an unique soundtrack which is stunning.
They are replayable, you can make choices that affect you and the ending you get which again, is awesome.
I don't know what else I can say. Hoping for a new Metro game soon.
Game is Immersive like i have never seen before, only downside is the Exclusivity for Epic Games Store that make me wait 1 year to play masterpiece (I don´t have on GoG, i played with Xbox Pc Game pass).
So you like to play Skyrim as a woodelf ranger who creeps from shadow to shadow, eliminating one baddie at a time and waiting for the last bandit, through whose head you just put an arrow, to declare loudly that it was just the wind. Me too, that's how I like to play.
And the Metro series let's you play that way. Except you can't make any mistakes. And you're not allowed to be a soggy little pansy any more. Good luck, you're going to need it in a world where perfect assassination of human targets will grant you the only real rest you're going to get in between the crummy little shanty towns that shine like dying lights in the midst of this all-consuming darkness...
Playing at 1440p with an i9, rtx 2080 on DX11 at ultra settings with evrything enabled is a joy
Playing on DX12 with Raytracing & DLSS is a different story , BUGS , CRASHES , NOT GREAT PERFORMANCE.
Putting aside the bugs, this is a Fantastic game. i would highly recommend it and i can't wait for the next one to release.
