The Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition is out now! The radical update which harnesses the power of Ray Tracing capable GPUs to deliver an incredible visual upgrade.

The Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition is free for all existing owners of Metro Exodus on PC, but the upgrade is so extensive, it can not be delivered as a patch - instead, it is available as a separate entitlement. Upgrades include DLSS 2.0 Inclusion, Ray Traced Emissive Lighting used throughout, FOV slider, increased framerates and display resolutions. A Ray Tracing capable GPU is the minimum spec for this beast, and you can upgrade right now for free if you own Metro Exodus.

    Metro Exodus - Sam's Story

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition is, simply put, the best way to experience the game. The hardware requirements are steep, but if you’re lucky enough to have a ray-tracing enabled graphics card, there’s no reason to play the original release instead of this version.

I would buy the Gold edition, but why when there is officially a Linux version on Vulkan renderer I have to use DXVK and lose performance?

Stereotypes and Bugs

Playing stereotype characters is an obstacle to immersion. This game is full of such obstacles. The other obstacles are the many, serious bugs that crash the game, sometimes always at the same point, and you have to google a workaround (if any exists). Graphics and game mechanics are okay though. Can not recommend it unless you get it cheap.
