NO FREAKIN WAY!
I never in a million years thought I'd see this game again. It's been about a decade since I played it and it's still as fun and addictive as it was way back in the day. GOG rocks

Excellent Game
Civilization + Magic the Gathering = compelling and addictive turn-based fantasy 4X. Has few equals and only a few games have ever surpassed it. My only gripe is that it wasn't as hard as it could've been. By the end of 8th grade I was able to beat the game on "Impossible" difficulty pretty regularly.

what a great classic!
I used to play this game when i was a teen in the 90's. That's gog for putting this game in an update windows format. I had an old copy and i kept it til this day because i can't find anybody to make it work in windows instead of DOS. This game is fun and addictive. sperry

Best 4X game
Civilization meets Magic the Gathering. Master of Magic is one of the most addicting games I've ever played, and I've been gaming since 1978. How good is it? The strategy guide was an excellent read even without the game.

Thought it was another game
But I bought and played it and I haven't stopped since. This game is a blast, if your into civilization this is the perfect game for you, instead of building up with research of technology here you get magic. I'm not going to give up too much more but its a blast.
