64 bit error ?
I played this for years. Every change in the parameters changes the whole game. My last disc of this game I bought here. Except I cannot get it to run on a 64 bit system. Since I got this machine for game play and dumped my older ones, I have the disc but it does not run. Any fix for this ?

oustanding game
You know there was a time when games had to rely on more than graphics and flash. I belive it was something called 'gameplay'. Yeah, that's the ticket! While far from perfect, this game kept me busy for hours, contstantly tinkering with each different region, adjusting this, tweaking that, all the while worried about the threat of invasions? Excellent game. Thanks GOG for bringing back a true classic.

I played this when I was a kid... And it never gets old. I just wish there were more games like this and Age of Empires, Empire earth etc.

LotR 1 doesn't work with my current computer, but LotR 2 works (so far). I'll try LotR on an older computer to see if it works. LotR 3 works fine too!
