Not a very good game
I loved LotR one and two.... but this game just isn't very good. I tried to keep my interest in it, but personally, I don't like to micromanage battles... and there's not much else to do outside of running battles. Just sit there and watch the time go by.

Total disappointment
I bought it because I loved Lords of the Realm 2. This has nothing to do with the previous installment! A total disaster. Moreover, you cannot save at all on Windows, because it constantly claims the folder is read only. Wasted money.

It's sad...
...to see a game that was well done (LoTR2) fall to such a disappointing state. I bought it a while back, I have regretted that purchase. If you buy anything from this series, make sure that a) this is NOT what you are buying, and b) you are buying Lords of The Realm 2 instead.

Disappointing sequel
I remember buying this back in the day at retail when it was first released just as soon as it hit the stores. I had spent dozens of hours with the incredible LOTR 2 and i was super hyped. Suffice it to say a few hours in the game the disappointment had really set in,before abandoning the game and never touching it again. It was the first time in my life that i realized that not all sequels were in fact improvements...

Dissapointed
I've expected more from this game. The game is just meh. It has nothing going for it except the medieval look. It kinda feels like total war but fails as there is no depth. Recruiting lords is horrible as it is all rng.
